About Me

About Amanda

I’m Amanda Parrish, an LPN and the founder of Still Care Consulting.

For over a decade, I have worked in healthcare supporting individuals and families through complex behavioral and care situations. Much of my background has been in behavioral health, where I developed a deep understanding of how changes in mood, behavior, environment, and stress can affect both individuals and the people caring for them.

In recent years, I have also worked closely with older adults and families navigating the challenges that come with aging, caregiving, and changing health needs. Through this experience, I saw how often families and caregivers are left feeling overwhelmed, unsure of what is happening, or uncertain about the next step.

Situations involving behavioral changes, caregiver stress, or major care decisions can feel confusing and emotionally heavy. My goal is to help bring clarity and calm to those moments.

Through Still Care Consulting, I work with families, caregivers, and care facilities to better understand challenging behaviors, navigate difficult care decisions, and develop practical strategies that improve safety, communication, and quality of life.

My approach combines clinical experience with a compassionate, real-world understanding of what families and caregivers are going through. Sometimes what people need most is a knowledgeable professional who can step in, assess the situation from the outside, and help everyone move forward with a clear plan.

Still Care Consulting was created to provide thoughtful guidance during moments when families, caregivers, and care teams feel overwhelmed or unsure of the next step.

A little about me

Outside of my work, I’m a wife, a mother, and a member of the local Massachusetts community. Caring for others has always been a central part of my life, both professionally and personally, and I feel honored to support families and caregivers during moments when guidance and reassurance can make all the difference.
